In looking at studies published in 2018 in @EUplatinum and @JUrology, we found that tweets by academic social media influencers were not associated with future citations as of 2021. Rather strong open access studies drove future citations. #AUA22 @justindubinmd @urogabe

The first to assess radial wave shockwave therapy (the technology behind Gainswave) demonstrating no difference between radial waves and sham. Radial shockwaves are completely different than focused shockwaves and should be treated as completely different therapies.
