This past semester, students were invited to bring their own pepper to determine the capsaicin content aka ‘hotness’. The 2023 winner is Jordan Morin’s Carolina Reaper which registered a scorching 1.2 million on the Scoville Scale! Jordan was presented with a $50 Starbucks card.
