Nearing the end of Hispanic Heritage Month, we wanted to highlight one of our student orgs, Latinos in STEM Organization! Open to all students, LSTO aims to provide academic and social support to the Latin community within STEM concentrations. More here: bit.ly/476mLK8
At the STEM Career Fair students took the opportunity to meet with employers as they looked for summer internships or full-time positions. The new location provided more space for students and employers to connect, and even reunite with some alumni!

Last month the College of Engineering in collaboration with the College of Public Health hosted the Grad Connect Breakfast! Graduate students were able to connect over coffee and build community. As a new monthly event we look forward to another Grad Connect Breakfast soon! ☕

ICYMI: This past summer the College of Engineering NASA RockSat-C team had their experiment launched aboard a small sounding rocket. Their project intends to find the correlation between solar radiation, the magnetic field of the earth, and altitude.
