Table It!

By far one of our favorite purchases of the #OriginsGameFair is The Loop from @Pandasaurusgame! A very fun cooperative game working together to keep the space-time continuum stable! Great theme and exciting game rounds everytime. Can't wait to play again! Highly recommend.

Making our way through the T-Series, we have played Teotihuacan from @BoardAndDice several times over now. Using a few different modules from the expansions every time! Love to watch the pyramid build up over time and strategize when is the best time to take certain actions.

Not sure how we haven't posted about Quacks of Quedlinburg before. It's one of our all time favorites! Building a bag of ingredients for your potion and pushing your luck as you add them to your cauldron. Played with the Alchemists expansion and had another great night with this!

We are very bad at Galaxy Trucker from @czechgames, but that doesn't stop us playing over and over again to build better ships! Watching as meteors and space pirates rip our creations apart. Maybe eventually we will make a buck off of some cargo... Great fun in this little box!

Talk about impressive table presence! Tekhenu: Obelisk of the Sun from @BoardAndDice takes dice drafting to the next level. The moving obelisk on the board is a brilliant mechanic that uses light and shadows to manipulate dice actions. Deep and meaningful turns every time!

Too Many Bones from @ChipTheoryGames hitting the table again tonight, this time with the Splice and Dice Expansion! A fantastic expansion to an already fantastic game. Adding in tons of variability as you build the Tyrant to take on in the finale. A fresh adventure every time.

An extremely close (one point difference!) game of Underwater Cities from @RioGrandeGames! Awesome city building game expanding your manufacturing network to support your citizens. The expansion, New Discoveries, is a great addition too! Highly recommend this for two players!

We love cooperative games. Most of our games we play are at two players so being able to work together to win is our favorite aspect of the hobby. Enter Spirit Island from @GTGamesLLC. One of the single best, and most challenging, cooperative games we've played. Highly recommend.

We may be partial because of our love for birds, but Wingspan from @stonemaiergames and designed by @elizhargrave is nothing short of a masterpiece. From the quality of the production, to the card drafting that offers endless variety. One of the few games we would call perfect.

Stunning artwork paired with clever card drafting and set collection gives us Meadow from Rebel Studios! Highly recommend this game at two players for a great head to head experience building your competing meadows to become the best nature observer.

Solved crimes and mysteries today in MicroMacro Crime City from @pegasusspiele! A huge map of a beautifully designed town with fun surprises in every corner which guide us off track our current objective. Anyways, back to finding this guy's top hat...

Delivering today and played right away was Cascadia from @alderac and @FlatoutGames! Tile drafting and tile laying goodness creating a beautiful ecosystem with a whole lot of depth in a small compact box. Fully enjoyed at two players. Will be proudly displayed next to Calico!

Oceans from @NorthStarGames is a fascinating card drafting and hand management game where your cards become creatures living in this oceanic ecosystem. Building and activating fun combos between your sets of creatures, Oceans is a game that will hit our table many times.

By our surprise today, Atlantis Rising from @ElfCreekGames was delivered and what a surprise it was! Got it to the table within the hour and an hour later, got a spot within our top ten favorite games. A wonderful co-operative worker placement game with amazing production value.

Boomer brought the BANG! this fourth of July with an outstanding game of Too Many Bones from @ChipTheoryGames. This game sits well within our top 3 favorites of all time, bringing exciting adventure combined with epic dice building. Nothing better than a fistful of dice.

Summoned to our table today was Summoner Wars from @PlaidHatGames! Our new favorite two player game. Had a blast from the start simply picking our decks admiring the beautiful art on every card. Looking forward to future expansions and playing more!

After the Empire from @GreyFoxGames is a great worker placement game where every action gives a feeling of satisfaction. Be it building up your defenses for the upcoming attack, recruiting people and building cards to build your tableau, taxing your citizens. Highly recommend.

Some of the most pleasant art and highest quality production comes from Honey Buzz from @ElfCreekGames. We could sit here and gush about how great the worker placement and tile laying gameplay is but really you only need to know one thing. The worker bees are called Beeple. 10/10

We here at Table It! are big fans of cats, so there is fierce competition whenever Calico from @FlatoutGames and @alderac lands on the table. Which is quite often considering how good this game is. Great game for two players that has a challenging puzzle under the cute aesthetic.
