There's 2 school of colors : -realistic colors are still under the effects of lighting, so it follows classic rendering techniques -non realistic colors will have more freedom and painterly funky stuff happening, an object can have whatever color then
A new definition to "non realistic rendering", is mastering the use of colors, because fundamentals teaches to use values of black and white, which only covers basic form rendering, this is the step further
I just saw the trailer of Tales of Berseria Remastered releasing next year... at full price, game is from 2017 it's not that old, not a single player ever asked for this Why not remake one of the most loved one like Tales of Symphonia but with modern graphics
