#28YearsLaterTheBoneTemple was ever so good, but was missing that Danny Boyle direction in parts. I want more intense and crazy action in this but I am still happy with how the film progressed. Fiennes was incredible, O'Connell was super! Can't wait for the next one!
1st cinema trip of 2026 done. I'm surprised that #TheHousemaid was still showing but glad it was. This was a cheeky thriller and I did enjoy it, I'm still not enamoured by Sweeney though, Seyfried is excellent. Few cheeky twists towards the end that were very welcome.
What's all the hate for the #StrangerThingsFinale ? It was good! If you honestly think of a better way for each individual stories to end, I'll hear it but I don't think any would be any better. The finale was cool as fuck, for everyone involved, and closed it off so well
Jeezo, it's been a whole month since I've been to the cinema (quiet time at the cinema as well as Christmas prep) I went and saw #Anaconda with low expectations and enjoyed it. Black and Rudd knew their assignments and well played their typecast characters and it worked!
First time viewing The Apprentice. Sebastian Stan is playing this wonderfully. He turns into an asshole very well. What a right fucking bastard.
I'm not young enough really for the 6 7 trend, I'm very much part of the 69 crew. BUT 6 7 sounds much better in Scots Gaelic - Sia seachd which sounds like shee-a shawkht (the h between the k and the t sound lessens the harsh k, gives a more airy feel to a light t sound too)

I watched #SisuRoadToRevenge tonight after work and what a fun, superbly over-the-top violent film to the point of comedy. Our anti-hero doesn't utter a word and Lang was the perfect adversary to him. Some utterly insane scenes. The soundtrack matched the level of violence too
I watched #NowYouSeeMe this afternoon and whilst a good yarn to begin with, with great introduction to new main characters in Greenblatt, Smith and Sessa the magic of the film falls flat by the climax. Some great and slick scenes but I was left wanting more from the ending

There's going to be a few football (soccer) posts. Scotland's national team have just qualified for the World Cup, the first time since 1998s tournament. And we did it in true Scottish style, not easily but our goals were something else!

I watched #therunningman tonight, Powell looks great on screen as always, Domingo played that character excellently and looked great doing it. Brolin gives big bad very well. Great to see so much Glasgow! An entertaining action film that almost got bogged down by the story arc
I watched #Frankenstein this morning 2.5 hours of a gorgeously set film, I didn't get bored at any point. Del Toro included his dark yet hopeful and tragic story-telling magic! Isaac and Elordi played counterparts fantastically. The settings looked so good! Great film
