Just saw this picture and loved it! Big steps are overwhelming and difficult, small steps can still take you to the top. That’s what mixed attainment teaching and scaffolding is all about. Provide the right steps to reach the top for everyone, no matter how small

Check out teach like nobodies watching by Mark Enser. Some great stuff in there about whole class feedback etc. Ross McGill also covers whole class feedback and other methods in Mark.Plan.Teach. Feedback has been a big focus for me this year so bit of a nerd on it!!
Sharing again the ‘NQT battle plan’. With reduced ability to visit your new school or placement I hope this will contain a few useful hacks and solutions to ensure you’re ‘victourious’ next year. The cliche theme is a given. #historyteacher #NQT #trainee docs.google.com/file/d/1pfGczH…

I've updated my Structured Extended Response questions for Physics (originally inspired by @PhysicsManSam)- they've been really useful in supporting students that lack confidence in science and as independent/homelearning tasks. drive.google.com/drive/folders/…
I'm going to give this a re-share because of how truly truly brilliant it is. Dozens & dozens of scaffolded extended response questions! I'm re-planning some things at the moment & these are going to be an integral part. #SharingIsCaring #CogSciSci
