The volumetric efficiency of legacy WEDM machines is astonishingly bad. We're almost ready to launch a 4-axis desktop WEDM machine with a 5"x5"x5" cutting volume. Size of a desktop 3D printer, with already about 1/3 the usable volume as this thing.
