‘Meet the CIOB’ Year 11 GCSE Technology and Construction pupils pictured enjoying the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) event in Belfast. Great day connecting with some of the leading businesses in Ireland learning all about careers and opportunities within the industry.

Mr McCabe’s GCSE TD pupils put their knowledge on wood working tools and wood joints into practice today in the workshop. #HandsOnLearning
Mr McCabe’s 9C class took on the Spaghetti and Marshmallow Tower Challenge. No records were broken but there was plenty of fun learning about structures and problem solving 🙌🏻

Our Engineering pupils recently visited Greiner Packaging, Dungannon. The visit was very informative and was for pupils to explore the opportunity of enrolling in the Gold Apprenticeship Programme. Thanks again to Greiner Packaging and in particular our host, Maeve Turbitt #STEM

Big thank you to the Eco Club for their donation of HDPE plastics. We can’t wait to get them all melted down and turned into some cool projects. Our Year 8’s will be investigating just how usable recycled HDPE is over the next few weeks, stay tuned 👀
We need your help! Bring in any plastic that has the 'HDPE 2' symbol. Look out for it in bottles and bottle caps. There will be a drop off point in all TD rooms for the plastic. Please clean and remove all labels from the plastic! We are going to use it for pupil projects!
A massive thank you to @midulster_mega for coming in today to talk to some of our GCSE Engineering students. It was great to hear and learn about all of the opportunities that our pupils have after Year 12. A very informative and interesting morning for sure.
