Arrived back home from the Alpine Garden Society conference. A good weekend with brilliant talks, lots of interesting people and an excellent hotel. Now on the train to Waterloo for the two-day Geothermal Symposium in London that starts tomorrow.


Great to be at the Alpine Garden Society Conference after a three year break. A whole weekend of plants and lectures - this year in Kenilworth.


Just boarded my flight back to Heathrow from Denver. British Airways have upgraded me from Premium Economy to First Class. Thank you BA.


A lot of planetary science at the conference today. I’ve been to 18 x 15-minute planetary geology lectures - Moon, Mercury and Venus. More tomorrow.
