It's really funny watching the culture war people come at Dragon Age for being "woke". Dragon Age and BioWare at large have literally always had the same values. You've just accidentally become the villain and are now idealizing the older games because you remember them wrongly.

One of the single most reprehensible things I have ever heard. I have a pit in my stomach just reading this.
This is actually like parody. You put the game on pause for years to build out Overwatch "2", and then the "sequel" is nothing more than an update and a new monetization scheme. Then, "test" to revert the game back to the one everybody liked. This is like a Hard Drive article.

If you're a Dragon Age fan who thinks Veilguard is "going woke", you need to actually play the previous games. Diversity and inclusion are in BioWare's (and Dragon Age's) DNA. Maybe you don't remember that because you played the game before you turned into the villain.
