Except he obviously did it and the decision is obviously wrong, you complete fool. It's on live camera - the perpetrator should be behind bars. My suspicion is the jury was compromised by political bias. "Human rights activists" - like you - are now pro breaking spines?
Let that be the end of the appalling "policewoman attacked with a sledgehammer" lie used by Yvette Cooper and Mark Rowley to justify the proscription of Palestine Action.
Absolutely disgusted by the ghouls on here celebrating the breaking of a policewoman's spine because they like the vile politics of the attacker. The Palestine Mob's "human rights" agenda now extends to sledgehammer attacks and violent burglary.
Absolutely outrageous. A man from Palestine Action smashed a woman police officer's spine with a sledgehammer. That's attempted murder - and it's on camera. This is a political acquittal. news.sky.com/story/six-pale…
I don't know why the jury couldn't come to a verdict over the Palestine Action assault. I hope there's a retrial & he's convicted of GBH / attempted murder. But why did it happen? Is jury bias - whether political, religious or ethnic - now just a part of our legal system?
A criminal thug broke a woman's spine with a sledgehammer - and you are supporting him. You absolutely vile, evil man.
Pleased to see the jury make this decision. We need to have eyes wide open this is exactly why the Government wants to abolish juries. People protesting against a genocide are not the criminals here - it's the politicians who continue to provide cover. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
Simon is ABSOLUTELY spot on. Britain's tax burden is too high and it has bad distortions at the margins But this is NOT the main thing holding back the UK economy. Energy. Skills. Investment rates. Allocation of private capital. Proportion of productive sectors vs not.
Energy, Labour, Capital. On all three the UK - under successive governments - has priced its way out of competitiveness. A growth plan that focuses in on marginal tax rates (however imperfect they are) will go the same way as the Mini Budget. 1) Scrap the licencing amnesty for…

Excellent piece from @gavinantonyrice in @spectator yesterday on the energic debate within the centre-right. Parts are breaking free of the intellectual shackles of the past. It must continue, we cannot go back to Cameron-2010. New times, new ideas. spectator.com/article/the-br…

This claim is cobblers. They get to the £145/MWh claim by assuming a 30% load factor and making up £41/MWh of carbon costs. If we built and ran gas-fired generators at high load factor instead of wind and removed carbon costs, then costs fall to £68/MWh.
3/ It is a significant step towards clean power by 2030. The price secured in this auction is 40% lower than the alternative cost of building and operating a new gas plant.

For a truly fair tax policy, low earners will need to pay more
Top rate taxpayers have been unfairly punished by successive Chancellors. It’s time to share the load
If the tax burden is at an all-time high, why are average-income Brits among the least taxed in the world? The UK has an ultra-progressive tax structure - both Tories & Labour have squeezed higher earners to shield the majority from tax. My latest for the Telegraph. 👇
It is absurd for the Prime Minister to argue this. His government is increasing both the cost and risk of employing young people. As @CPSThinkTank has highlighted, the cost of employing someone aged 18-20 on minimum wage will have increased by 26% in the two years 2024–26.
"Our welfare state is trapping people, not just in poverty, but out of work, young people in particular," Keir Starmer says The former Health Secretary Alan Milburn will lead an investigation into rising youth inactivity, the PM adds Follow live: bbc.in/48b2DZ9
