The problem with food prices isnt that people have an issue with shelling out more money - prices in every single other industry go up year over year, and everyone just accepts it. The problem is perceived value - and that we, as a country,generally do not view food as "valuable"

We’ve been able to keep 80% of our staff onboard at pre-covid levels of wages (or higher) for the last year. And we haven’t done indoor dining, or outdoor. Just takeaway - prioritizing the safety of our staff has always been the success metric for me.
