Merchant Navy Class No. 35028 Clan Line heading through Shortlands, wearing discs and flags to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. @ClanLine28
And it's behaviour like this that gives us enthusiasts a bad name. Got what they deserved, hope the elderly enthusiast is ok. If you're gonna go to a station, follow the damn rules and stay behind the yellow line.
I've seen a report on FB, that an enthusiast at Carlisle, there to see “Blue Peter”, refused to stand behind the yellow line (ignoring requests from @AvantiWestCoast staff and a Pendolino driver)and then assaulted an elderly enthusiast before being thrown off the station by BTP.
LMS Black 5 No. 45212 approaching Redhill on the @railwaytouring Sussex Belle to Eastbourne.
Isn't often you get back to back steam. Two in five minutes, 60532 Blue Peter and 34067 Tangmere through Penrith yesterday heading for Carlisle.
Proper weather for seeing steam in Kent today. @ClanLine28 captured from high above powering through Capel-le-ferne along the Dover seawall
Finally seen 60532 Blue Peter in the flesh. What a machine, a grand job from all involved to see this icon steam again!
A top day out filming the steed of mainline steam, 35028 Clan Line putting on a great show throughout on yesterday's End of Southern Steam railtour with @railwaytouring: youtu.be/RFMPHHocXu8?si…
Had a fantastic time at @SwanRailway's Strictly Bulleid II event last weekend, amazing to see so many of these engines working on one line!
An absolute thrill to ride Leander's footplate on the EOR today, was hard to believe it was bowing out of service today given the performance! Video shows her departing Ongar on her very last run, with owner Chris Beet driving and detonators sounding. Farewell for now old girl.
Back where she belongs. 7029 Clun Castle under the roof of London Paddington this evening having brought 1Z48 from Plymouth.
Still the best Jubilee in my opinion. LMS No. 45690 Leander at Ropley on the @Watercress_Line today. A top event from the line this weekend and great to finally ride this beast!
Spent the weekend in the north for @eastlancsrly Legends of Steam. It's hard to pick a favourite loco from the event, but the return of 70000 Britannia was definitely a highlight. That whistle and Britannia bark has been sorely missed! Filmed at Great Eaves Rd crossing.
