One of the things I want to do in the future is become a mental health advocate, and I can't do that unless I practice what I preach and treat it like a high priority.
I learned that in times when I try to block hurtful situations out, those instances turn into triggers. It builds up and you don't even realize it until you have a break down (or several).
I stress how important mental health is but I haven't even allowed myself space and time to process certain things...I've been so hard on myself over the years.
