It is just recycled racism and recycled homophobia. They're using direct lines from when segregation was normal. They're using rehashed lines from the 80's homophobia. The aim has never been "protecting women and girls", it's always been about erasing trans people.
What do terfs tangibly mean when they say peeing in a cubicle next to a woman whoโs trans is an affront to their โdignityโ ? Itโs the same line racists used in the Deep South against Black people.
There is no trend or epidemic of kids being trans or non-binary.

Robert Jenrick is a perfect example of why the Code of Ethics needs reviewing and applying to any communication by an MP via any media format. We should not tolerate MP's spreading mendacious claims, using untruths, or publishing statements that spread hate amongst minorities.

Second time a Labour minister misrepresents me today. Of course this isn't all being a care worker is and I would never want to imply that it is. But it is a part of it - and I repeat what I said: I'm really grateful to people who do this vital work wherever they're from.
