This highlights the fact that the committee is trying way too hard to determine who should be in the playoff, which is wrong. They should be ranking the top 25 teams from best to worst. The framework is in place from there to determine who makes the playoff. What a mess.
Did anyone else catch Yurachek's note about "Without this the ACC would have no representatives" i.e. wanted to keep representation there and that's why Miami is in. @alex_kirshner mentioned this possibility on his pod yesterday. Interesting.
