Thank you. Exactly what we said at the start of this thread - they are human. I’m sure they were trying their best and they should be trained to learn from their mistakes if they offend people. The parent did nothing wrong yet was demonised on social media by the volunteer
Obviously website states this. But did you know you can run without registering at that age? We don’t believe someone should stop a child who was only a week shy of 4 #running in their own local park #freecountry. Some think Park Run owns running in a park😌
Glad you were made to feel so welcome & encouraged 😃 👍 only the other week we saw a 3 year old driven out of the park running with her mum by a park run “official” who has now put her off running 😔 the volunteer involved is no longer dealing with junior park runners there 👏
