Which is why we have made Rovina’s Choice. We cannot let the people affected – the health workers like those at Clinic 7 and the families like Rovina Naboi’s — go unseen. And we cannot let the consequences go unaccounted for. 6/ 🎥 youtu.be/Oj0PsaP2ZqQ?si…

Like him or not, that Cheney lived to 84 years old is a powerful testament to modern cardiovascular medicine. He was vasculopath: First heart attack at age 37, third heart attack by 47, requiring quadruple bypass surgery, 4th heart attack at 50, severe heart failure requiring…

A fascinating piece about life as an in-the-trenches GOP operative in the Trump era and the compromises you have to make. Almost all are now fully bought in. But some remain concerned. This one decided he had enough. thebulwark.com/p/my-last-day-…

I think Bolton's views are bad and his books tendentious, but we're better off as a free society having people like him keep diaries and write memoirs. On balance, I tend to think the benefits of open debate outweigh the imperatives of secrecy.

I continue to think the appropriate punishment for mishandling classified information is the loss of access to classified information, but not criminal prosecution unless the person commits espionage. How did I end up defending the Rage Walrus? Fuck 2025.

The mechanism through which Trump is paying the troops is the most blatant large Antideficiency Act (ADA) violation in US history. It's also clearly willful. No one has been charged under the ADA before, but violations carry a 2 year jail term. Statute of limitations is 5 years.

I gasped when I saw the front page of this decision; Judge Young includes a postcard sent to him asking "Trump has pardons and tanks ... what do you have?" He responds "Alone, I have nothing but my sense of duty. Together, We the People ... have our magnificent Constitution."

Every single question from the "media" has been sycophantic slop, some variation of: 'Sir, this is a historic accomplishment you have just single-handedly achieved, how much will Americans love you for this?' or 'Why are the Democrats falsely smearing your glorious achievement?'

Trump on the 2020 election: "We did win the election. We did great. But unfortunately it didn't work out that way from a practical standpoint."

Hegseth really flew in every general from around the world to tell them "There are too many women and non-white people in this military."

Hegseth: "Any place where tried and true physical standards were altered, especially since 2015 when combat arms standards were changed to ensure females could qualify, must be returned to their original standard. Other standards have been manipulated to hit racial quotas as…

It appears Trump had Comey indicted in connection with *leaks about Hillary Clinton*, likely the unattributed sources defending Comey's handling of it, and casting shade on Obama's DOJ. Which would mean Comey is being prosecuted for actions that HELPED Trump.

The federal indictment of James Comey accuses him of lying to Congress about whether he asked his longtime friend Dan Richman to leak stories to reporters about Hillary Clinton, a source familiar with the matter tells MSNBC.  This was first reported by ABC News @MLevineReports

Earlier today I posted about how Trump tweeted, in all caps, that parents should not give young kids Tylenol for "virtually any reason." I've gotten endless variations of this reply, from Trump supporters who never even bothered to read their infallible leader's orders.

It’s really bad that the president of the United States is posting all-caps dictates about what vaccines parents should give their kids and when based on god-knows-what. Everyone involved in creating this situation should feel a deep and abiding sense of shame.

Every person fighting over what "side" these shooters are on before the blood has even dried is macabre, gross, petty, and contributing to the problem. This isn't some kind of fucked up team sport. The only sides are the people who would do these shootings, and the rest of us.

I know a lot is happening, but I feel that we've underappreciated the fact that the president is now explicitly on record directing federal prosecutors to become persecutors of his critics. This is a betrayal of his oath and the country, even beyond January 6.
