What I like best about the Well is that the "forward thinkers" on it were strongly opposed to taking the service to the Web in 1995, because the command line interface was sort of a "proving ground" for users that weeded out a subset of potential users. The Bruce Katz era.

There is such a social media site, owned by the users, no ads, no bots, in continuous use since 1985. @WIRED called it the most influential social network of its time. Check it out @TheWELL

I wish you guys would all get together and make a new social media app without elon that you guys own and control in a worker co op so that you don’t have to deal with people like elon mistreating you or underestimating your abilities. Ducks would be a cool motif.
