Terrible and tragic news about a great writer who fully understood all of soccer's flaws and fully embraced all it could be.
A reminder that outputs aren't outcomes. It doesn't matter how many meetings you host, social media followers you have or times you're quoted in the press if you're not closing deals, passing laws or turning out voters.
