Funny how quickly free speech becomes “small fee speech” when you turn something over to the oligarch billionaire class. Bots already pay $8 for the checkmark, this is just to try and earn Elon some more money off of our backs because.. he doesn’t have enough already? 😒
Unfortunately, a small fee for new user write access is the only way to curb the relentless onslaught of bots. Current AI (and troll farms) can pass “are you a bot” with ease.
