For all predictions of what the No Kings crowds would be & do, away from the speaker stage the DC one mostly looked like this: lots of handmade signs, some costumes, very anti-Trump but all about how they were pro-America (here +music for a dance party in front of Trump’s banner)
Same in DC. Very peaceful. Plenty of MPD officers, all of them super bored.
Went to Chicago No Kings rally. A huge, peaceful crowd. Families were there. People of all ages. Lots of homemade signs (Soros apparently needs to up the signage budget). Some scenes below. There was such a huge gap between scary GOP rhetoric and the completely peaceful reality
