Utter madness, taxing jobs was never the answer and still no plan for confidence and growth. Hospitality is one of the UK's most socioeconomically important sectors yet was in the front line for Covid, Brexit and the cost of living crisis. It simply can't shoulder another burden.
Today’s labour market data flashing red - unemployment rate higher than Bank expected and numbers of workers on payroll falling as a direct result of NIC changes and govt policy. Slowing wage rate growth of 4.2%. All suggest Bank of England should cut rates

This. Another pub under threat. We've already lost some key pubs around Ardwick Green and Brunswick, and this one is so fundamental to Manchester's music scene. It could have a new lease of life as that end of the city repopulates and the event visitor economy remains strong.
