Please, please stop using tricks in mathematics before students conceptually understand what is going on. For example, you teach the butterfly method, then learners want to use it to add and subtract fractions. NOOOOO #openupmath

Yesterday was my last day as a Clinton resident. I’ve learned so much over the 6 years, and I’m leaving with so many great memories! Thank you for everything, Clinton!

I was recently asked to explain what being a Clinton Cardinal means to me for CARD TV, and it reminded me of this Tweet that I posted a while back. Still true to this day! 😄

One of the primary reasons that people dislike mathematics is because they've been given a fake version which is formulaic & lifeless. Real mathematics is imaginative & vibrant!
