Great to see Notts last night playing a free kick straight into the box without any short tip tapping into a slightly better position and we scored from it, much much better #Notts

Great to hear @CharlieSlater15 commentating on #Notts on Sky TV, hoping he’ll be cheering a goal or two for Notts in the second half

What an awful u turn from Kemi Badenoch, the Conservatives when in power were all for it, hopefully Labour will not ditch the plan it could be the first good decision they’ve made🤔 bbc.co.uk/sport/football…

Big game in the FA Cup tonight Alfreton v Notts County. Local Derby. All there players out to prove a point Most released by me and other Notts managers. Show no mercy Bury em

What a great start Keir Starmer, if the hard up pensioners had no idea how they’d heat their homes under the last government they’ll have no chance under Labour, but then you do have to raise £billions to pay for all the extra incoming migrants that your government will attract

Looking ahead to winter is frightening. I’ve met pensioners who have no idea how they’ll heat their homes. Parents who will have to skip meals so their kids can eat. The Tories are too busy fighting each other to notice. Labour has a plan that meets the scale of this crisis.

Well done to Nottingham City Council or whoever decided to display the St George’s flag

A huge 60ft St George’s flag was unveiled in Nottingham today. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 It was installed on the city’s council house in the annual tradition celebrating England’s patron saint. Well done to Nottingham Council! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I really hope the Notts owners can see what’s needed to compete in this league, we have skilful players but not enough height and brawn for the battle, 70% play and toothless in the box #Notts

The two Notts youngsters that came on as second half subs have done more than Mitchell has done all game, what a waste of money he’s been

Disappointing financial report on the state of Notts, owners pumping in around £2 million a year

Notts County lost £1.7 million in the National League in 2021/22. Club has total creditors of almost £14 million, is technically insolvent and reliant upon owners to continue trading. No detailed accounts published which is a shame as club takes advantage of small company rules
