The Reception children at Christ Church Clifton Primary School have been reading the Gruffalo in class. Today we went into school to explore the story some more. We learnt lots about the animals and their habitats; Of course there was time for fire and sweet treats!
Whatever else we’ve learned, we’ve pretty much found out that these skullduggerous career politicians are willing to change their stance on just about anything if it serves themselves. Maybe we kind of knew anyway but it definitely confirms it

We were really pleased to be invited back to St Stephen's Junior School in Soundwell today. The weather threw everything at us, but it didn't put off the 'wanna be' Stone Age people. Good effort everyone! We were impressed not only with your enthusiasm, but also your resilience.
A fab time with Y5, with opportunities to develop a range of skills. A paired activity, enabled each child to support their partner. There were opportunities to be creative with clay or pastels, while others explored ways to make shelters or use flint and steel. @St_SavioursJ
