My most recent article: I don’t know if we can have a heaven on earth, but I know we need not have hell on earth… Our foolish leaders spend their days telling us who to fear, blame, despise, & destroy. They’re promoting a fantasy that has never worked. patheos.com/blogs/paperbac…

Devastating— “I’m afraid for my parents to leave the house. They treat us like dogs because of the color of our skin. I shouldn’t be scared, I should be focusing on school.” A 16yo American living in fear of the Trump regime’s ICE goons terrorizing brown people pleads for help.

Even a fool can see what ICE has become under this administration is truly evil.

FITCHBURG, MASSACHUSETTS: ICE grabs a man by the neck, sending him into a seizure while he clutches an infant agents try to tear from his hands. Truly horrific.

“The whole modern world has divided itself into Conservatives and Progressives. The business of Progressives is to go on making mistakes. The business of Conservatives is to prevent mistakes from being corrected.” G.K. Chesterton

Oh so that’s why we’re in a recession.

Karoline Leavitt: “President Trump is running the country the same way he ran his business.”

Last night I filmed a performative prayer for social media, hoping to hold American Christians in a position of full ideological capture so they don't realize my party shills for corporations & billionaires who drive up the cost of healthcare, housing, childcare, & food.

Last night, I prayed with everyone on my telephone townhall. I asked the Lord to continue to guide us in the right direction as we work to reopen the government. This is the time to come together for the American people.

Yeah, no ... prices are up where I live.

Trump: What the Democrats do is they lie. We are the ones that have done great for affordability. They've done horribly on affordability. We have much lower prices than they did. Every price is down.

This administration is hostile to Christian’s values.

Trump's America: – Hungry? He’s ending food assistance. – Sick? Cutting Medicaid. – Need a home? Slashing 44% of affordable housing funds. – Bills too high? Gutting 74% of energy aid. He’s not fighting for you — he’s fighting AGAINST you.

Not enough people are talking about this: Even before Trump cut off SNAP funding, he and Republicans in Congress made the biggest cuts to food assistance in U.S. history.

The uncertainty of if or when SNAP benefits will be funded is leaving many Americans wondering whether they are going to pay rent, pay their bills or buy food. abcnews.link/OLnEfgY

Worker: remember the invisible hand of capitalism is a superstition, a self-delusional belief in a make-believe phantasm allocating capital in the most effective & fair way possible. There is no invisible hand. There are only market regulations written by the rich for the rich.

Worker: In the industrial economy, labor unions were strong enough to see that workers got a fair share in a company's profits. In today's service economy, organized labor is too weak, so workers no longer get a fair share of a company's profits. All the money goes to the execs.

PHILLIP: Republicans are saying that Chuck Schumer is afraid of you. Is he? AOC: I don't think so. Sen. Schumer and I have worked together. I think Republicans are afraid of me and they project their fear onto him. So they're just telling on themselves when they say that.

He literally says we are “killing all the right people” and celebrates that we have “run out of bombs.” All the while pretending to be Christian. There is no version of Christianity that rejoices in death and glorifies violence, even the death of an enemy whom Christ has…

Worker: Government is not the only recourse workers have against the limitless power of large corporations. The most powerful ally workers have is each other. I’m talking about organized labor (not Jimmy Hoffa, but Cesar Chavez) and the virtuous aspects of labor unions.

Worker: Rent goes up around 6% a year. Mortgage & insurance payments go up even more. Do you get a 6% raise every year? The Social Security cost of living adjustment is usually around 1.5%. This is part of why it feels like you haven't gotten a raise since 1979.

Dancers entertain his rich friends at Trump’s lavish Great Gatsby-themed Halloween party as Americans begin losing food assistance under his administration.

Worker: It is a conversion-level moment when you begin to divorce patriotism from predatory-capitalism, and to acknowledge that what capitalism 4.0 has become is destabilizing our families and communities, sacrificing democracy & freedom for executive bonuses & corporate jets.

Worker: remember, our economic system is designed by billionaires for billionaires. Our markets aren't “free.” They’re run by a government that is a wholly owned subsidiary of the corporate cartels, who legally pay politicians unlimited amounts of dark money to do their bidding.

Worker: the political elites & crony-capitalists label those who threaten their power a Marxist or Socialist. They know it isn’t true, but it distracts us while they pick our pockets to pay for another vacation home in the Caribbean. We can't get distracted. Change the system.
