Somewhat staggered the amount of time @ASUS believe it's acceptable for a £1200 laptop to last before the keyboard and speakers stop working is barely 2 years. That'll be the last thing I buy of theirs after a *lot* of laptops, motherboards and graphics cards over the years.

My favourite discovery of the week is that most artists on Spotify have a biography panel with several paragraphs of who they are and what they're about, and then the one for Tom Jones simply says "Tom Jones". I mean, it's not wrong.

Well, I'm going to say that after two nights of Digi Live everyone was absolutely bloody lovely, from chatting about obviously wrong film locations with Ashens to Violet Berlin asking the near-impossible question of, "favourite LucasArts adventure?" Sorry to anyone I missed!
I now have a Bacon Number of 4 thanks to this. There are other people in it. They had memories which didn't revolve around the internal architecture of flats above shops.

The @RoyalMail refund form is astonishingly user-hostile, asking you for information they already have, refusing to allow you to paste in tracking numbers and addresses, then threatening you with prosecution (!) before you submit a claim.
i'm off on holiday for a week soon, can anyone recommend a good fantasy series to read? preferably an older one that's finished, rather than "i've written books 1-6 out of a planned 18". bonus points for dragons :D
Don't like to, but after trying blocking, muting, extensions that hide half the site and whatever else I'm finding the only way to truly avoid Twitter rage-bate is unfollow the people who retweet it, no matter how interesting what else they have to say is.
