Today I looked at the oil paint smeared on my gossamer curtains blowing in the breeze and smelling fresh rain and I painted something that finally made me feel happy. I did it. Today I was happy again. I made a mess and it wasn't perfect... but I'm happy.

always remember: you are NOT the main character.
IMO, people should also 100% focus on OOC communication with people they are roleplaying with. If they can't communicate, you don't know who is going through what IRL and what roleplay means to them in that moment. Conflict RP is only fun when we're all on the same page.
Always try to be chill when your character loses and in fact losing can be fun and give your character some kind of obstacle to get over. Its all apart of the story. Hope this helps.
Remember you are not going to a lobby, you are driving your character at a lobby. Imagine them like a mech suit. Get that distance you need to not feel like when something doesn't go their way you are losing, when in fact you are just experiencing the story they are in. ->
Self insert characters make you feel personally attacked when a character doesn't like your character. Not a great idea self inserts. Makes you much more prone to bleed. As you feel that any time characters go against your character its a bit personal. ->
Tips on how not to bleed in rp. Always remember its not player vs player, it is in fact all the players working together to make a story. Every action you do is not something the player would do it is in fact just what the characters would do. This goes both ways. continue ->
