I have a spinal cord injury and 80% of my body doesn’t sweat as a result. Disabled folks with nerve and neurological damage or conditions are not building up any kind of tolerance to heat.
This isn't a climate solution. We can't "you do you" ourselves out of the climate crisis. We need federal standards that protect workers from the heat, and to keep fossil fuels in the ground.
