If you have an enquiry relating to the scheduling of COVID vaccinations, you can now leave a message with the new COVID Vaccinations Hotline (0161 912 1299). The hotline will be monitored by NHS Trafford Clinical Commissioning Group
Dear patients we are working very hard to ensure swift roll out of the Covid vaccine. We will be in communication with patients as soon as we have more information.

Please be aware that it is important that childhood immunisation courses are started and completed at the appropriate time. We are taking extra precautions to ensure patient safety. Longer appointments are available and all clinical staff have full PPE.

We would like to thank all our patients for their understanding and cooperation as we work together in these difficult, stressful and very challenging times. We wish you and your families good health.
We have purchased supplies of PPE to ensure our staff are kept safe and healthy. We will be issuing patients who attend the health centre for an appointment with a mask.
We have designated certain rooms within the health centre for the doctors and practice nurses. The aim is to protect the most vulnerable patients whilst still providing a high level of care to everyone.
We would like to share some developments with you. We have purchased a gazebo which is in the health centre car park. The plan is that when a clinician has triaged a patient and wishes to see them they can be assessed in the gazebo.
Wash your hands more often than usual, for 20 seconds each time with soap and water or use hand sanitiser.
At this stage of the epidemic we need everyone to stay at home except in specific circumstances. The NHS depends on us making it difficult for the virus to spread. We all need to make changes. This will be very disruptive but it is essential to keep the community safe.
The only reasons to leave home are: ✅ To shop for basic necessities or pick up medicine ✅ To travel to work when you absolutely cannot work from home ✅ To exercise once a day, alone or with members of your household ❌ Do not meet others, even friends or family
Here at Dr Westwood's surgery we are very busy but we are here as normal. When you speak to reception they will ask you some screening questions this is simply to ensure the health and well being of all patients and staff. Please do not be offended by these questions.
