Breaking news - the lanes for the A-finals have been redrawn into echelon (winners in lanes 1-2 not central) by the Fairness Commission. This is usually due to expectations of very cross wind in medal races.
Nip and tuck between Chuvashev and Klemp in the PR1 B final. Chuvashev coming through to get the win. Interesting, Klemp is one of very few athletes having competed in all 3 boat classes starting out in the LTA4+ (PR3) and is looking to make his mark now in the PR1.

Has to be said @Channel4 have done a fantastic job covering all the #ParaRowing competitions so far this games. To my knowledge it's the first time there has been live footage of all the racing at a games. Both footage and commentary has been incredible 👏. #TokyoParalympics

Coming into this regatta I would have backed 2019 world silver medallist Alexey Chuvashev to be a medal contender at these games. Very suprised to see him not make the A final in the repecharge overnight. B final for the RPC PR1.
