So the train overwhelming won. I have started taking the bus between Hildenborough and Tunbridge Wells. Reliability is a concern but with two an hour compared to one an hour train, it's more flexible and a smidge cheaper. The biggest benefit is the shorter walking distance. ^RM

⚠️ UPDATE: A road traffic accident that has caused damage to a bridge over the railway near #HighBrooms. As a result, the line is obstructed and currently blocked. Trains are unable to run between Tonbridge & Tunbridge wells. 🚌 Replacement buses are being sourced.
Hi @Se_Railway it looks like there's a burn on the ticket vending machine at Hildenborough. Can it be logged for repair? ^RM
Sadly it seems that Hildenborough station is unstaffed today so that means no waiting room or toilets.. we had hoped Southeastern would have recruited sufficient cover by now.. ^RM

A quick trip to see family in Battle has unfortunately turned out not to be quick. A signal fault meant that @Se_Railway trains can't run towards Hastings, so a minibus from Etchingham it is. A pain, but credit to the driver and guard for updating us as best they could. ^KJ
