School record alert- congratulations to Ma’Khayla Bass-the sophomore sprinter broke the school record in the indoor 400 m dash(on a 200 m flat track) today at the Mount Vernon high school invitational
Was able to chat with former Stebbins Indian, former OSU Buckeye and 1992/96 Olympian long jumper Joe Greene here at the MY.Vernon HS invite - was able to talk old school track and how things have changed since his completion days -

My throwback Thursday- found this in my dresser- anyone else have their state meet shirts ? This was when we ran at the shoe , I ran the 4x400- we had Dunbar ( Chris Nelloms anchored) Princeton (shout out Gordon )and Wayne In the top 6- back then only 6 made podium and awards
