CBC Radio this morning proclaims "it is a big day for Canada" then informs us that is because PM Carney is unveiling his latest "major projects". It may well be CBC's opinion that the Liberals politically selected list makes for a "big day" but that does not make it a fact.

The Major Projects Office will fast-track major nation-building projects that are in the national interest, and will connect our country, attract domestic and global capital, and create high-paying careers.
And what's extra-weird is that he doesn't announce the projects after they've been approved by the "Major Projects Office" but before they've even been considered by it. "The law is in my mouth" as King Richard II unhappily put it.
