2.48 to 3.22. Continuation play off weekly / intra day levels. $WOLF
Just nailing the bottom On $DJT. 29.49 to 31.68 It’s a good Monday.
Another quantum dip buy $QMCO 30.50 to 32.02 and 32.90. Right at the open perfect pull below 30 and reclaim. Accidentally sold The whole position on that second sell.
I had a feeling $PHIO could Be a D2 offering ticker. When it happened and was relatively small in comparison to 280m vol yesterday, I got 3.75 avg looking for 4.30s. Got as high we 4.43 sells. Recognizing history repeating!!
Been waiting for those Quantum reversals. Took starter PM on $RGTI and had avg 6.26. Scaled out top sells 7.23. Great push into open.
$NITO was a tease. I got Tricked and more so was just impatient. Waiting for closer to $1 area and use 1.05 area as risk off 1.17 bounce was the play to take.
Don’t forget how important GAP FILL areas are as they become areas of support for a back side bounce.
As I said earlier, daily B/O provide bounces when pull back To those areas. $HOTH $SILO
$NITO did a lot of flirting with FGDB so I was just taking profits then added on dips holding some YOLO shares on my last sells. Then when I got back below initial Entry I cut those final shares. A nice 1.29 to 1.67 scaling.
I noticed on $HOTH it had perfect consolidation over intraday day breakout on the daily. I shifted quickly to see PM gappers set up this way the next day and $SILO did that. I took risking 1.65 daily level. Perfect bounce but left a lot on the table.
A loss. But a well played 1R loss. I took starter and sized in for D2 play on $CURR. I did get small push but not near PT. Risk was 1.84 from The 4hr. Cut at risk and a disciplined planned loss happened. $SANA was the D2 play that did work, but it did have a ton of dilution
A nice FGDB on $GFAI. Took This 2.07 to 2.41. Risk was 1.94 daily level. 2.6R on this trade. I wanted push to 2.60s but kept stalling. I had to leave desk and didn’t want to give back so i sold second half.
It’s been a good start to the year, but there have been definite shifts and fake outs. It’s a good feeling every change in the markets I feel I’m quicker to adjust. Let’s go 2025. Time To get closer to full time trading and less of the “real job”
THE BEST LOSER WINS by @TomHougaard , I’ve read a lot of trading books, but one of my favorite especially after an undisciplined loss! Ive listened 5+ times. I highly recommend this to all levels of traders, especially if you are adding to losers and not maximizing winners!
I was patient, I let entry come To me, I did not chase. It fit my playbook 100%, I took profits as planned getting 3.95R. Yes, it went over $1.00. I will review and plan for stretching 1/5 of positions on future A+’s like this but I’m content! Attached: PLAN & Executions $GTI
Yesterday, one of my best days ever (outside of 2020/21 trading when everything went up and I wasn’t exactly as savy as I thought! $NVNI & $PRFX
A Win and a Lose this Christmas Eve. $120 win on $DRCT and $5 loss on $MYSZ not ready for bounce. I’ll take that ratio every day.
