To be fair, the best time to plant trees is between October and April so low numbers outside that period is not surprising. P.S. As Lambeth looks after about 34k trees (19k street trees and 15k in parks). They need to plant about 340 per year to replace ones that die
The numbers are in: @lambeth_council planted only THREE trees in May, our latest FOI reveals. They felled 24. That’s a net loss of 21 trees! We don’t want any more months like this @RezinaChowdhury @clairekholland
I've contacted Council officers who have confirmed that trees will be planted on these pits during the coming planting season! 🙌🏼🌳
