Boat back at Craobh Haven. Settling back into normal life and resisting questions about SIPR 2019! Thanks to sailors, runners, supporters, @SIPeaksRace and Triptych. A good year - as much sun as wind (at times) and many memories.

And finally the last leg of #sipr18, the 15 mls from Lamlash to Troon. The wind was fickle, as throughout the race, but we arrived at 17:00. Thanks to all organisers, runners and sailors who make this a special event. Fundraising for @heathertrust helping to look after the hills

The leg to Arran is 73 mls across much open water, much of it lively last night. We rounded the Mull of Kintyre at 01:30 and arrived in Lamlash at 08:15. The runners headed for Goat Fell, their final challenge.

We got to Craighouse yesterday, but there was no signal to provide the update. It was a slow trip down from Mull but we finished well. The runners did their work and then it was off for the big leg round the Mull of Kintyre.

The runners did a good job on Mull. A slow quiet night with little or no wind. Just got out of Sd of Mull - all boats behind us got stuck - no wind. Now heading for Sd of Luing. Craighouse early afternoon??

Now at anchor in Salen Bay #sipr18. Not much wind in Sound of Mull - plenty of rowing. Runners back about 22:30 then head for Craighouse

We are on our way #sipr18. 5 boats ahead of us.

A week until we are in Oban getting ready for the off for @SIPeaksRace. The big questions are: what is the weather going to be like and will anyone be watching and supporting us to help @heathertrust? Go on, get involved! facebook.com/donate/1600462…

A reminder what the Paps of Jura can look like - as seen on Monday, this week. Will they look like this during the @SIPeaksRace on 19 May?

#sipr starts 2 weeks tomorrow. Anyone want to tri-sailing a trimaran, a competitor in this year’s race, on the west coast of Scotland, and raise funds for a charity that protects the hills? Here’s is your chance. auction.heathertrust.co.uk/lots/a-days-sa…

Where are the other multihulls? I want someone to follow!

2 days to sneak those #sipr18 entries in before the early bird deadline...

The sun is out, the days are getting longer and @SIPeaksRace is getting closer. If you would like to support a good cause, I am fundraising for the Heather Trust that cares for the mountains our fearless runners will be assaulting. facebook.com/donate/1600462…

As the dust settles, overall we finished 6th, and the runners 12th. All pretty satisfactory! Photos: photos.google.com/share/AF1QipNN…

Thanks to all who organised this great race, even if we do occasionally forget to add a #sipr or @SIPeaksRace to our Tweets!
