Finally had time to “finish” a project I’ve been working on for a few months. Lockers for the kids hockey equipment.
Somehow got some time in the woodshop this weekend in between 5 kids hockey games. New end table for the living room. Wood is from an elm tree I cut down on our property 5 years ago.

Milled cherry, walnut and oak logs today. Approximately 500 board feet was the yield. Now they rest.
Nice find today. Power company came through and cleared some trees and brush on my road. Left these walnut logs in the ditch in front of my house. It’s like they know who lives here. Added to my mill pile.
It warmed up to 20F today. So I got outside to cut down trees for milling into boards this spring. Cut down an oak, cherry and walnut tree. Each 15-20 DBH.

The quest for a few par 3 holes continues. Cleaned up the 50 trees I cut down with @km_johnsen help. A few trees still to clean up over the winter as I finalize the plans and then I can move some dirt in the spring. Before and after photos.
Today’s projects…taking the dock & track out at the lake w/ @BJohnsen0716. Also did a little work on the deck widen the staircase & open up views from inside.
Clearing the way for a few par three holes. Before and after view. About 50 Siberian elms and box elders cut down today. A few more to go but need to clear these trees first. Anyone with a chipper want to lend a hand (or machine)? #weeds

There is just something about that Tenacity look that makes me happy.
Last weekends project. A 12’ x 5’ window replacement in the living room. That was a really heavy window. Thanks @km_johnsen @BJohnsen0716 @hockey0716 for the assist.
I’ve pulled plugs in late winter to see if they survived, but never in the summer. This should be interesting.
