Australian households waste 2.5million tonnes of food per year. Decluttering my pantry is a good start to reducing my own food waste.
If you invest $5000 a year into an S&P 500 Index Fund with 9% annual growth... You'd have $742,876 after 30 years. If you invest the same money into a mutual fund with a 1% advisory fee, assuming the same 9% growth... You'd have $602,470. Difference: -$140,406 1% adds up!
