Per @OptaSTATS, Julius Randle is the first @Timberwolves player to record two triple-doubles in his first nine games of a season. Only Ricky Rubio (13-14) and Kevin Garnett (02-03) had ever recorded one triple-double in his first nine games of a season for the Wolves.
Randle's triple-double came with 7:39 left in the 3rd quarter. Kevin Garnett previously held the franchise record for fastest triple-double (3:06 Q3; Feb. 7, 2007 vs. GSW). *Since 97-98 when PxP tracking began
