The Heisman is an overexposed, terminally self-serious event specifically because its voting body is sportswriters. Pavia was mad he didn't win, he fired something off on social, and then he apologized. It should and hopefully will be forgotten by the end of the week. Move on.

Diego Pavia took Vanderbilt to their first ever 10 win season. He made it cool to be a Commodore. 4,018 yards of total offense. 36 total touchdowns. The BEST player in the country. The most deserving player to be the HEISMAN WINNER.
The committee had no backbone They left out a top 3 team by almost every metric/power rating and rewarded an Alabama team that has looked absolutely miserable for a month straight right now. Well done CFB
Remember, while the committee changes year to year....the mindset rarely changes. It's not the best or most deserving, it's normally the most convenient.
