My TA for LING 227 (rap linguistics), Charys Russell, just gave an excellent lecture on rhyme strengthening (Komaniecki 2020) and pitch rhyming — Charys’s own discovery, which she’ll hopefully write up soon! Students loved it, and one told Charys that she should teach full-time!
