It is time for citizens to rise as patriots and demand accountability from all institutions before the country is pushed further into decline.

you can’t say you love this country and be okay with everything that’s currently happening, regardless of your political stance

UGX2.4B to teach citizens how to ‘identify corruption’ and audit public funds? The idea is good, but the price tag definitely raises eyebrows.

Office of the Auditor General wants UGX2,400,000,000 next FY 2026/27 to teach Ugandans how to "identify corruption" and engage them in the auditing of public funds. 🤔🤔

Because too often we act in our own short-term interests instead of thinking about the country as a whole.

But why are we suffering in our own country?

Local elections shape daily life in your community. Know your candidates, vote based on integrity and service, and make your voice count. Your participation matters, choose Uganda first. 🇺🇬

Saying NRM isn't the only problem doesn't mean they aren't a problem at all. Uganda's issues are bigger than one party. Blind loyalty, weak accountability and emotional politics affect all sides. If we don't address that, changing parties won't change outcomes 📌

Saying Uganda's biggest political problem is not NRM alone makes the rest rubbish

Emotional loyalty over critical thinking is hurting our politics.

Uganda's biggest political problem isn't NRM or the opposition. It's a population that treats politics like football. People support sides emotionally not logically then blame everyone else when things don't change.

If our MPs are truly serving the people and not themselves, we must demand they table a bill to cut excessive perks and redirect resources to those who need them most. It’s time to hold leadership accountable. #UgandaFirst

Being an MP in Uganda is a profitable business, here is a breakdown of their top benefits: 1. Salary (ranging between 36M to 55M) 2. You qualify to get a loan of 1 billion shillings in any bank 3. 200M for your new car 4. 45M for as a wardrobe grant for clothings 5. Full family…

We’re in this situation because most people are putting self, party, and individual interests ahead of the country’s well-being.

Some people will endure broken roads, empty hospitals ( no drugs ), and a collapsing economy. But the moment leadership shifts to someone outside their circle, that’s where they draw the line. So it was never about the country it was about protecting access, privilege, and…

This is why we must prioritize the interests of our nation above all else. Our loyalty should be to the country, not self, party, or individuals. Only then can we begin to address the deeper issues of corruption, greed, and division. When a nation is broken, it affects us all.

Over the years, I’ve realized that our biggest problem as a country comes down to two things: 1️⃣ Many of our leaders are arrogant, greedy, corrupt and tribalistic. 2️⃣ But we, the citizens, also need to be honest with ourselves. We are hypocrites, quick to point fingers, ready…

This is why Uganda First exists. The focus in the country should shift from leaders or individuals chasing their own benefits to everyone thinking about what’s best for all Ugandans, the collective good.

“Politicians are always fighting for power and not fighting for the poor, because they want to change their own lives, not other people lives.” ― De philosopher DJ Kyos

Under the law, mobile money is regulated by the Bank of Uganda, not UCC. Ugandans deserve clear, accurate explanations. Transparency matters when millions depend on this service.
