Heartwarming bee tale: An elderly Salvadoran woman, staying at our house in the 1990s in California, attracted swarming honeybees by beating a large plastic bucket with a spoon. They followed her, landing on our porch awning. Finding no ready hive or snacks, they just buzzed off.
