A power outage in Columbia has interrupted our Internet connectivity. USCB Public wireless is unaffected.

Some users noticed an email sfrom ITS HELPDESK about accounts needing to be verified. This is a phishing attempt to steal your credentials.
The USCB Public wireless connection is unaffected by the current outage.

UTS in Columbia is reporting a temporary outage with the University's Exchange email system. Faculty and Staff email may be delayed.
Access to the Carolina Card database server has been restored. The previously mentioned service interruptions should be fixed.
There is an outage in Columbia causing interruptions to services tied to Carolina Card. This includes printing in the libraries.
Our network connectivity has been restored. Internet access should now be active on all wired USCB systems.
