Happy Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Our last spotlight is Shyama Golden. Currently, her oil, acrylic, and iPad paintings use figuration to explore the complex and layered ways identity is experienced, performed, and reinforced.

The colorful walls of the Dr. William Lo Chinese Art Gallery were selected in accordance with the Feng shui color wheel that assigns compass directions with specific colors. Each color relates to elements and the forces of nature in the Universe.
