The @USC_Baseball Players of the Summer are highlighted by two position players. Two-way star @deancarp1 enjoyed a strong Cape season, boasting an .853 OPS. Catcher @AndrewLamb2023 was a big star on the West Coast, walking nearly 40 times and slugging 11 XBH.

Per @EliasSports, CJ Stubbs is the first Nationals (2005-pres.) catcher to catch a shutout in his Major League debut. He is the first Major League catcher since Oakland's Sean Murphy on Sept. 4, 2019 to catch a shutout in his MLB debut.
