#MWEworks: Officials from Water & Sanitation Development Facility- North in @min_waterUg & Stakeholders held the 1st site meeting to inspect construction of Water, Sanitation & Hygiene & Infrastructure Facilities in schools in Northern Uganda-Lot D LORO Cluster in Oyam District.
We marked #GlobalHandwashingDay with a lively #Dance4WASH competition involving 30 schools, 600+ learners, and 60 teachers. Performances were judged on technique, creativity, and WASH relevance. ๐ St. Ann Girls P/S Naddangira won, followed by Kasangati Muslim P/S and Mugongo P/S
#MWEworks: Uganda joined the rest of the World in commemorating Global Hand Washing Day that is celebrated on 15th October. The National celebrations held in Mbale City under the theme โBe a Hand Washing Heroโ highlighted importance of hand hygiene in promoting public healthโ.
